Service Description

Skid-steer loaders are versatile pieces of equipment used across construction, landscaping, agriculture, and industrial worksites, but safe operation requires proper training and practical experience. Operators must understand equipment controls, hazard recognition, safe operating procedures, and accident prevention to reduce the risk of incidents and maintain a safe, productive work environment. Our Skid-Steer Operator Safety Training provides hands-on instruction and practical evaluation to help build operator confidence, reduce workplace hazards, and support workplace safety compliance. This training program focuses on the safe operation of skid-steer loaders, including pre-operational inspections, machine controls, stability, safe loading and unloading procedures, attachment awareness, hazard identification, and safe operating practices. Our skid-steer operator training includes both a classroom theory component and a practical competency evaluation to help ensure operators have the knowledge and skills required to safely operate skid-steer equipment. This training can support employers in meeting their obligations under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), as well as applicable CSA standards and manufacturer-recommended safe operating practices. Upon successful completion of the training and evaluation, participants will receive an Operator Certificate the same day. Employers remain responsible for ensuring operators are trained and competent on the specific equipment, attachments, and workplace conditions in which they will be working. We offer flexible training at our facility in Stoney Creek and can accommodate individuals or large groups, including full staff training. For added convenience, we also provide on-site group training at your facility—often the most cost-effective and time-efficient option for employers.
